Our Sunday School year ended
on May 23rd with a pizza lunch and craft at church, followed by Glo-Golf at the
Zap-Zone. Everyone had a fun time.
Our VBS ( High Seas
Expedition ) will take place June 21-24th, from 6:30 PM until 8:00
PM.
We are encouraging our Sunday School children to bring a friend with them. We
are also asking our church members to bring their grandchildren, nieces,
nephews etc. Help us have a great turnout this year. Once again we are in need
of approximately fifteen shoe boxes. If you have some, please place them in
room 3 down the hall. We will need them ahead of time so we can paint them. We
will also be posting a list of items needed for snacks each day on the church
bulletin board. Thanks in advance for your help.

Brief Review of
Our Sunday School Year
We
started our Sunday School year with Rally Day. Our teachers were introduced, a
special craft was enjoyed by all, as well as the lesson. In October we had a
Harvest Festival for the children and their families. A light supper was
served. December was our Christmas service, " From Heaven Above to Earth I
Come". A pizza party was held after the final practice and presents were
given to the children. In February we had our mid-winter social for the
children and their families. We finished with a build your own ice cream
sundae. On May 23rd we will end our Sunday School year. We plan to have a year
end activity for the children.
We
are in the process of planning and preparing for VacationBibleSchool. The tenative date is June 21-24. We look
forward to another successful year.
At
the present time we have six children on our Cradle Roll. They are, Jillian
Meyers, Logan Scott, Lilli Nichols, Brodie Nichols, Noah Warren, and Alexis
Hagerty.
